Progress check

By half term,

you should:

  1. Established which group of leaders you are working with
  2. Know which year group you are leading
  3. Decided on your activitiies (sports)
  4. Decided on the format of the competitions / activities
  5. Completed your planning sheet
  6. Completed a risk assessment template for each activity
  7. Produced some certificates on publisher to hand out to all pupils
You should be in a position to be able to run your event at any point from now onwards. If you are not prepared to do this, more planning is required.

In the first week back, I am going to sit down with each group and assess you on your planning. I shall interview you as a group for approximate 10 mins about the running of the tournament e.g. who is doing what and when, timings, equipment needs, contingency planning...

This will be recorded on Audioboo and an a grade will be awarded for your planning there and then.

Pupil Questionnaire

To help inform your planning for School Sports Week, I would like you to compose a questionnaire to ask pupils in tutor time about the structure and type of activities they would like to see during the week.
